Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Trundleway ("the game", "we") processes, why, and what your choices are. It applies to the Android app and to this website (trundleway.com); if the game is released on other platforms later, it applies to those versions too. Trundleway is published by ChillScale Games (Daniel Peter Nagy). Effective date: 15.10.2026.
Who we are
Trundleway is published by Daniel Peter Nagy, an independent self-employed developer based in Germany, operating under the name “ChillScale Games”. Daniel Peter Nagy is the controller responsible for the processing of your data. For any privacy question or request, write to info@danielnagy.dev or use the contact form on our studio website. The postal address is in the Impressum.

In short
- The game collects no personal data for us. It has no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no in-app purchases and no account with us. The only part of it that can go online is the optional sign-in to Google Play Games, for a cloud copy of your saves and for achievements, which Google runs; without it the game plays entirely offline.
- Everything the game remembers stays on your device, and in your own Google account if you sign in to Google Play Games.
- This website keeps short-lived server logs. The contact form is on our studio website and has its own privacy policy.
The game: data on your device
The game keeps these in the app’s own storage on your device: your settings, your career (your profiles, money, trucks and garages, and the job you are on), and your parking practice results. The map of the four countries comes with the app; while you play, the game makes no connection to the internet. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android’s settings, deletes all of it.
The app keeps this data out of the automatic Android backup to your Google account. Only when you move to a new phone yourself (Android’s device-to-device transfer) does it travel with your other apps.
Google Play
Google Play distributes the app. Google processes the data of your download and installation as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Google shows us statistics about installs and, from devices whose owners have allowed Android to share usage and diagnostics data, anonymous crash and performance reports. These do not tell us who you are. When you buy the game, Google Play takes the payment as an independent controller as well: we never see your payment details, and for each order Google gives us only an order number and sales information such as the price and the buyer’s country, which we need for taxes and accounting.
Google Play Games (optional)
The game offers an optional sign-in to Google Play Games: once at the first start, and in Settings. Without it the game plays entirely offline, as described above.
If you sign in, the game keeps a copy of your careers in Google Play Games’ saved games, in your Google account: your profiles and their saves, your parking results and your achievement progress, so that you can carry on on another device. It also tells Google Play Games which achievements you have earned. Google processes this as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We receive none of it: it goes from the app on your device to your Google account with no server of ours in between, and we never see your Google account. Google shows us only totals, such as how many players have earned an achievement.
Deleting a profile in the game deletes it from the cloud copy the next time the game syncs. In the Google Play Games app you can delete the game’s whole cloud save and achievements, and choose whether you stay signed in.
This website: hosting and server logs
This website runs on our server, hosted by netcup GmbH in Germany. netcup processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
When you visit this website, the web server writes an access log entry: your IP address, the time, the requested address and your browser’s identifier (user agent). These logs are deleted automatically after 10 days (14 days on our test system). The website loads nothing from other companies: its fonts and images are served from our own server. It sets no analytics or advertising cookies; the only cookie is the one that remembers your language when you pick one.
Contact form and email
The contact form is run on the website of our studio, chillscalegames.com, by the same provider (Daniel Peter Nagy, “ChillScale Games”), on our own server. If you choose Trundleway there, your message says so. What it stores, why and for how long is described in the privacy policy of that website:
Studio privacy policy: chillscalegames.com/privacy
If you email us, or we answer you by email, the correspondence is kept in our mailbox, which Microsoft hosts for us. We use your address and your message only to deal with your request, and delete the correspondence when we no longer need it for that, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Third parties
- Google Play distributes the app, as an independent controller (see “Google Play”).
- Google Play Games keeps the cloud save and the achievements if you sign in, as an independent controller (see “Google Play Games (optional)”).
- netcup GmbH (Germany) hosts our server as our processor (see “This website: hosting and server logs”).
- Microsoft hosts our mailbox, only if you email us or ask for a reply by email.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Transfers outside the EEA
Our own server is in Germany. Google and Microsoft may process data in the United States and other countries outside the European Economic Area. For these transfers they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both are certified, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details are in their privacy policies.
Legal basis (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Where the GDPR applies, we process data on these bases:
- Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): running this website securely (access logs, limiting abuse) and answering the messages you send us.
- Storing data on your device (§ 25(2) TDDDG) is limited to what the game or this website needs for what you asked for: your progress and settings in the game, and your language choice on the website.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a machine-readable format (data portability), and to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest.
The game’s data is only on your device, so we hold none of it: you see it in the game and delete it by uninstalling the app. For the messages you sent us, or any other request, write to info@danielnagy.dev or use the contact form.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work or where you believe the infringement took place. In Hungary this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
Data retention
- Data in the game: on your device, until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Web server access logs: deleted after 10 days (14 days on our test system).
- Contact form messages: kept by the studio website (see its privacy policy).
- Email correspondence: until your request is dealt with, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Children
The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included. If a child has sent us a message through the contact form, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete it.
Security
This website, and the messages you send through it, travel only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the little data we hold.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever gets something that goes online, we will update this policy before that version is released. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
