Terms of Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Trundleway for your own non-commercial entertainment. The game and its content remain our property, except the map data described below, which stays under its own licence.

The game’s roads, towns and rivers are built from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License) and from Copernicus elevation data. They are simplified and rearranged for play: distances, junctions, speed limits and the towns themselves differ from the real ones. Trundleway is a game, not a map: never use it to plan a real journey.

The cities are real, and their famous buildings appear as simple models. The companies in the game, the hauliers, the fuel stations and the firms you drive for, are made up; any resemblance to a real company is coincidental.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the game, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Sell, rent or distribute the game or modified copies of it.
• Use the game or its content in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights.

Trundleway is a paid app: you buy it once on Google Play, which shows the price before you buy and handles the payment and refunds under its own terms. The game shows no ads and has no in-app purchases; the money you earn in the game is play money and can’t be bought, sold or exchanged. Country packs may later be offered as optional purchases; before that, we will update these terms and tell you in the game.

The game needs no account and plays fully offline. Your career and settings are kept on your device; if you sign in to Google Play Games (optional), a copy is also kept in your own Google account, which you can load on another device. We have no copy of them, so without that copy we can’t restore them if you uninstall the app, clear its data or lose the device.

We may update, change or discontinue the game at any time. An update may change the map, the jobs or the way the game plays; we try to keep your career working across updates, but can’t promise that every earlier state carries over.

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. If you breach these terms, your licence to use the game ends.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
